The short answer is, no. Our bags are made of durable, water-repellent materials to protect your essentials. However, these bags are sewn goods, which keeps us from saying they’re completely waterproof. If you are taking something with you that cannot get wet, we recommend using a small dry bag.

The lid of our bags accept a variety of mounts for your preferred technology. We currently offer solutions from Quad Lock, Bar Fly and K-Edge with more partnerships to come!

Due to frame size, component pairings, and placement, we may not fit certain bikes. Our Bike Mount & Bag fits most bikes with a rigid fork, round, 31.8mm diameter handlebars (25.4 & 26.0mm w/ adapters, sold separately), 50.5mm - 69.5mm of available clamping space, and at least 170mm of clearance from top of the handlebar to top of the front wheel.

Each Handlebar Bag has a location on either side to attach Handlebar Stubs (sold separately). These little wonders are best for most lights and bells. **Use of out-front style mounts on the Handlebar Stubs will void the warranty.

Using our Action Mount allows you to attach any accessory to the lid that uses a 3-prong adapter.

Due to the wide variety of shapes & construction techniques of this type of handlebar, Route Werks does not recommend our products to be used on carbon fiber handlebars. Such use is done so at the risk of the user and Route Werks is not responsible for any damage or injury to person or property resulting from such use.

Route Werks currently ships worldwide. North American orders depart from the US. European & UK orders depart from The Netherlands and the rest of the world ships from Hong Kong.

We provide Economy, Priority, and Expedited shipping options at checkout. When free shipping is offered it is Economy level shipping (and speed) unless otherwise noted. The best way to determine your options and pricing is to add your items to the cart and proceed with the checkout process. Outbound shipping on all orders is non-refundable.

Orders are processed in the sequence they are received. Most orders are processed within 2 business days. Orders placed after 3pm ET US will be processed the next business day. During higher order volumes, processing times may be longer. Orders placed during weekends or holidays will be added to the processing queue the next business day. Transit times provided at checkout are ESTIMATES, in business days, and are not guaranteed delivery times. Please plan accordingly.

Once packed, Route Werks will send you an email containing a tracking number link for your order. This information is the best way to follow your order’s progress and it’s the same one we use. No secrets. No hidden details we aren't sharing. Every detail provided to us is provided in your tracking. In some instances, couriers do not provide daily tracking events. This does not mean your order isn't moving. There just isn't a new event to report.

Once placed, we are unable to edit any order. Please ensure you have added all of the products you want and that your shipping & billing addresses are entered correctly - look out for autofill!

Route Werks is not responsible for lost orders due to incorrectly entered addresses.

Duties, taxes and other fees are determined by the customs agency within the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient. These fees will be due at the time of delivery and are non-refundable. If the recipient fails or refuses to pay applicable duties and taxes, the package will be abandoned and Route Werks will not refund the abandoned order, including shipping charges and fees.


You can return any product purchased from our web store within 30 days from the date of receipt as long as the item is in the same condition it was received. Please repackage all items to be returned and include your original receipt or email confirmation as proof of purchase. For items purchased through our crowdfunding campaign, please note that we cannot offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any items received as Kickstarter rewards. We offer a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use from the date you received your bag. Reach out to warranty@routewerks.cc if you encounter any issues, and we will assess its coverage under our warranty.

Our warranty does not cover damages due to crash, abuse, system alteration, modification, or use in any way not intended. For repairs outside of warranty, please contact us at info@routewerks.cc, and we’ll work with you to find a solution.
